Curriculum

Weekday Preschool fosters a love of learning, respect for differences, and belief in oneself as a competent learner. Your child will enjoy creative curriculum that introduces basic pre-academic skills through child-centered play, teacher-directed group activities, and hand-on learning centers.

Our teachers will engage and nurture your child with opportunities to develop the whole child. Learning occurs in every area of the classroom and playground through dramatic play, art, music, science, math and numerous other resources.

Weekday Preschool offers the following classes:

  • Four- and five-year-olds attend three, four or five half days per week
  • Three-year-olds meet either two or three half days per week
  • Two-year-olds meet two half days per week
  • Children 18-35 months may enroll in our Parent/Toddler class. Toddlers and grownups meet together for one hour per week to enjoy art, stories, music, sensory awareness, small muscle and large motor activities.

Weekday Preschool also offers extended day options throughout the year in the form of Lunch Breaks and Enrichment Programs.
