Tuition & Fees

Please contact the Preschool Office for current tuition information.

Monthly Tuition due 1st of month. After the 8th of the month please pay an additional $15 late fee.

WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL TUITION POLICY

1. Tuition Payments -
A. Payment in full by September 1 (5% discount) If a prepaid student withdraws, tuition paid in advance will be refunded minus the current month.
B. Pay by the semester (due August 15 and January 15)
C. Pay in nine monthly installments beginning August 1.

2. Monthly payments are due at the Preschool Office on the first day of each month, August through April. A check or money order, payable to FCC Weekday Preschool, may be mailed or placed in the black mailbox marked "Tuition", which is on the wall opposite the office door. Your canceled check is your receipt. Please put your child's name on the memo line of your check.

3. Late Payments -A monthly payment is late if it is not received at the Preschool Office by the 8th day of the month in which it is due. The $15.00 late fee is automatically added to the tuition owed. If not paid with the late check, $15.00 is due with the next payment. Parents who have difficulty meeting the 1st-of-the-month due date may choose an alternate due date by making a request in writing to the director.

4. Returned checks - If a check is returned for insufficient funds, the parent is responsible for repayment plus the $15.00 late fee and any applicable bank charge.

5. Reduced Tuition - You qualify for reduced tuition for "Qualifying Flossmoor Community Church Members" in one of two ways:
A. For fiscal year 2006-07 you pledged and gave at least $1439.00 to the church. (half the average pledge) The list of qualifying members is provided by the church bookkeeper to the Preschool Auxiliary Receiving Treasurer without revealing the amount you pledged.
B. You joined Flossmoor Community Church between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008. As a new FCC member you are exempt from the pledge requirement and are automatically a Qualifying Church Member for one year!

6. Refunds - Given two weeks notice, the office will refund prepaid tuition minus the current month for a child who is withdrawn from the program. The child's class place may then be given to another child.

7. Scholarship Fund -Chris Floyd Memorial Scholarships are administered by the Director and the Receiving Treasurer and are available to families in financial need. Scholarships are awarded without regard to a child's race, religion, disability, color, ethnicity, or national origin.

8. Special Programs - Fees for Enrichments, Serendipity Summer, Lunch Breaks, Field Trips, and special programs are assessed separately. Information is available upon request.
